Stefano Domenicali will remain as Formula 1's President and CEO through the 2029 season after signing a five-year contract extension with Liberty Media.
Domenicali has led F1 since 2021, overseeing significant growth, including the addition of 24 races and new U.S. Grand Prix events in Miami and Las Vegas.
Under his leadership, the series has expanded its global reach, secured high-profile partnerships like a 10-year deal with LVMH, and will add an 11th team, Cadillac Formula 1, in 2026.
The announcement comes ahead of the 2025 season opener in Australia, where reigning champion Max Verstappen begins his quest for a fifth consecutive title.
Liberty Media praised Domenicali for accelerating F1's commercial success and fan engagement, citing his energy and strategic vision as key to the sport's continued growth.
