SteelSeries Launches $600 Arctis Nova Elite With Hi-Res Wireless Audio

Early hands-on coverage points to LC3+ hi-fi plus a four-input GameHub as the case for the $600 price.

Overview

  • The Arctis Nova Elite is on sale now for $599.99 in two colorways through SteelSeries and major retailers.
  • SteelSeries says it is the first gaming headset with Hi-Res Wireless certification, delivering 24-bit/96 kHz over the LC3plus codec via Bluetooth and 2.4 GHz, which requires compatible source devices.
  • The new GameHub adds OmniPlay mixing for up to four audio sources at once and supports simultaneous PC, PlayStation, and Xbox connections through three rear USB-C ports plus Bluetooth and line-in.
  • A dual, hot-swappable battery system is included; SteelSeries advertises up to 60 hours per battery, while early hands-on testing reports roughly 30 hours in typical use.
  • Hardware highlights include 40 mm carbon-fiber drivers (10 Hz–40 kHz), active noise cancellation, AI-assisted microphones with a retractable boom, and a premium metal chassis co-designed with Jakob Wagner.
