  • Terrell Edmunds, a former first-round draft pick, was released by the Steelers after rejoining the team in September 2024.
  • During his career, Edmunds has played 101 games, recording 465 tackles, 7.5 sacks, six interceptions, and 28 passes defended.
  • The Steelers also released running back Jonathan Ward, who had been part of the team since the start of the 2024 season.
  • Linebacker Tyler Matakevich and wide receiver Ben Skowronek have been activated from injured reserve to fill the roster spots vacated by Edmunds and Ward.
  • Both Matakevich and Skowronek are expected to contribute significantly on special teams as the Steelers prepare to face the Commanders.
