Overview
- Amapá’s portaria sets 2026 alíquotas at 3%, 1.5% and 0.5%, opens payment from March to August with a 20% single-payment discount by March 16, and starts enforcement on September 1 after an August 31 licensing deadline.
- Electric vehicles remain exempt from IPVA in Amapá through the end of 2026 under Law No. 3,152/2024 signed by Governor Clécio Luís.
- Sergipe grants a 10% discount for full payment by March 31, allows payment with the vehicle licensing and up to 10 installments via credit card or Pix, and applies rates of 2.5% or 3% for passenger vehicles, 1% for buses and trucks, and 2% for motorcycles without EV or hybrid exemptions.
- Paraná’s 2026 guidance sets a 1.9% rate for most passenger vehicles, 1% for trucks, buses, rental and GNV vehicles, exempts motorcycles up to 170 cc, offers a 6% single-payment discount or up to five installments, and schedules January due dates by plate ending.
- Minas Gerais lists a general 4% rate for cars, opens 2026 payments from February 9 to 13 by plate ending, offers a 3% discount for single payment, and adds a 3% “Bom Pagador” bonus for owners current in 2024 and 2025, with FIPE values commonly used for used vehicles.
