States Log Stepped-Up Anti-Corruption Results for 2025

Year-end tallies highlight trap-focused enforcement backed by new complaint tools.

Overview

  • Telangana’s Anti-Corruption Bureau reported 199 cases and 273 arrests, including 157 trap cases, with ₹57.17 lakh seized in traps and properties worth about ₹96.13 crore unearthed in 15 disproportionate-assets cases.
  • The Telangana bureau obtained 115 prosecution sanctions, conducted 54 surprise inspections and 26 enquiries, and rolled out a QR code complaint system alongside its 1064 helpline and WhatsApp channel.
  • Kerala’s Vigilance and Anti-Corruption Bureau logged a record 57 trap cases with 76 arrests, seized nearly ₹15 lakh, carried out 1,152 surprise inspections, and secured 39 convictions in 30 cases.
  • Jammu & Kashmir’s ACB registered 78 cases, including 36 traps and 18 disproportionate-assets matters, filed charge-sheets in 43 cases, recorded seven convictions, and issued 41 alert notes and 91 advisories to departments.
  • Haryana’s Vigilance and Anti-Corruption Bureau registered 251 cases, the highest in a decade, recovered Rs 1,03,15,900 on the spot during operations, and arrested 186 accused, including 163 government employees.
