State Protection Probes Attack on Bundeswehr Soldier, Munich Arrest in August Sexual Assault

  • In a separate case in Munich, a 25-year-old woman was found on August 10 disoriented, partially undressed and injured in a backyard, with medical findings indicating a sexual offense.
  • A 20-year-old Passau resident was arrested on an Amtsgericht Munich warrant and is in pretrial detention on suspicion of rape while the victim lacked capacity to consent, after initially being cited the same night for stealing her phone and released.
