  • State Oil Ltd, the parent of Prax Group, entered High Court administration on June 30 after sustained losses at the 5.4 million-tonne-a-year Lindsey refinery
  • The Official Receiver appointed FTI Consulting as special manager for the Lindsey site and Teneo as administrator for the group’s remaining retail and upstream operations
  • Around 180 State Oil staff and 440 refinery employees have been kept on payroll to ensure safe, continuous operations while the business is restructured
  • Administrators are evaluating bids for roughly 200 petrol stations under Harvest, Total and Breeze brands and for the group’s North Sea upstream interests
  • Energy secretary Ed Miliband has demanded an immediate investigation into directors’ conduct, and Unite has urged ministers to act swiftly to protect jobs and national fuel supplies
