Overview
- The State of Mexico attorney general’s office said Fernando Galindo was found alive and in apparent good health after his Oct. 30 abduction.
- Three alleged participants were arrested, including Nery “N” (“El Moto”), identified as part of a Michoacán-origin criminal group operating in the region.
- Authorities say “El Moto” allegedly enforced the “alignment” of taxi drivers in Jilotepec, Soyaniquilpan and Acambay through intimidation and unlawful detention.
- The detainees were placed before the Ministerio Público, and prosecutors said specialized techniques and interagency coordination will continue to target the cells.
- AAARM-affiliated drivers earlier blocked stretches of the México–Querétaro highway near Tepotzotlán and Jorobas to demand Galindo’s location and stronger security for transport workers.
