State forensic analysts with the California DOJ, alongside Plumas County detectives, are aiding Sierra County investigators in uncovering how the remote campsite killing occurred

The Sierra County Sheriff’s Office arrested a 36-year-old man on suspicion of homicide after finding a woman’s body at a campsite Friday morning.

  • Later that morning, 36-year-old Jesse James Dallmann of Sun Valley, Nevada, was arrested on homicide charges and booked into the Nevada County Jail
