• Banco Nación and Banco Provincia have launched fully digital personal credit lines for AUH, SUAF recipients and retirees who collect through ANSES
• Applicants can complete applications entirely online via bank websites, home banking platforms and mobile apps with instant simulations of loan amounts, interest rates, monthly installments and total costs
• Loan amounts range from around ARS 750,000 in illustrative examples to up to ARS 2,000,000 for AUH and SUAF holders, while pensioners may qualify for lines up to ARS 3,000,000 at Banco Nación or as much as ARS 50,000,000 at Banco Provincia
• Examples show nominal annual rates of 60% to 79% and effective annual rates that can exceed 100%, implying monthly payments that may strain low-income households
• Eligibility criteria include ANSES benefit receipt, a bank account at the offering bank, valid DNI and CBU, age caps and acceptable Veraz credit scores, with additional income verification in some cases
