STARZ Releases Season 3 Trailer for 'Power Book III: Raising Kanan', Premiere Set for December 1

Season 3 continues to unravel the evolution of Kanan Stark with a return to Southside Jamaica Queens after a mob attack, featuring the return of mob boss Stefano and introduction of new characters "Snaps" and "Pop".

• The third season of 'Power Book III: Raising Kanan', featuring Tony Award winner Patina Miller and MeKai Curtis, is set to premiere on December 1, with new episodes available weekly on Fridays at midnight ET on the STARZ app, all STARZ streaming and on-demand platforms, as well as at 8 p.m. ET/PT on STARZ in the U.S. and Canada.
• Season 3 continues the origin story of Kanan Stark (MeKai Curtis), exploring his transformation from the dedicated son of Raquel “Raq” Thomas (Patina Miller) to the ruthless, amoral and pragmatic personality fans know from Power.
• The new season picks up in Southside Jamaica, Queens, after a coordinated mob attack on the Thomas family, with a focus on the aftermath for Raquel, Marvin, and Lou-Lou. Raquel aims to start fresh, a plan met with disbelief and distrust from Kanan.
• Italian mob boss Stefano, played by Tony Danza, makes a return in the third season, alongside the introduction of new characters “Snaps” and “Pop,” portrayed by Wendell Pierce and Erika Woods respectively.
• In addition to the main cast, the third season will also see Grantham Coleman join as the character “Ronnie”, and includes other returning cast members such as Omar Epps, London Brow, Malcolm Mays, Hailey Kilgore, Joey Bada$$, Shanley Caswell, and Antonio Ortiz.
