- On Thursday, Oct. 29, Starz reported Q3 revenue of $322.4 million and a narrowed net loss of $34.8 million, beating Wall Street revenue and EPS expectations.
- Streaming (OTT) revenue rose to $226.6 million, helped by higher renewal pricing after an April hike and stronger engagement from recent releases.
- Linear and other revenue fell to $95.8 million, but that decline was partly offset by distribution revenue for owned titles such as the original series Fightland.
- Starz said it has restored service on Verizon Fios and is expanding bundle deals with partners like Peacock and Crunchyroll to broaden reach without owning the full consumer ecosystem.
- Since separating from Lionsgate in May 2025, the company has pushed a strategy of owning more IP and cutting per-episode costs and reiterated 2026 targets including cash content spend under $600 million and mid single-digit adjusted operating income growth.
