STARLUX and American Airlines Form Interline Partnership Linking TaipeiPhoenix to U.S. Network

Single-ticket itineraries with through-checked bags now tie Taipei flights into American’s North American network.

Overview

  • Signed on August 15, the interline agreement enables single-ticket booking and through-checked luggage across the two carriers’ networks.
  • Combined itineraries can be issued by travel agents now, and STARLUX has opened ticket sales for its new TaipeiPhoenix service.
  • Daily nonstop TaipeiPhoenix flights start January 15, 2026 as JX026/JX025, arriving at 5:40 p.m. and departing at 10:45 p.m. local time to facilitate connections.
  • American highlights connectivity to more than 250 destinations in North America, with Phoenix schedules set to link to over 40 U.S. cities outbound and more than 60 inbound.
  • The route will use 306-seat Airbus A350-900 aircraft; STARLUX currently operates ten A350s and has 18 A350-1000s on order.
