Starlink Raises German Subscription Prices

The company says the higher fees will pay for faster network capacity build‑out, better reliability and rising operating costs.

Overview

  • Starlink announced Friday that standard monthly rates in Germany will change in June 2026, with the 100 Mbit/s plan moving from €29 to €35, the 200 Mbit/s plan from €49 to €55, and the Max plan from €69 to €75.
  • The provider also raised travel tariffs so the 100 GB mobile package rises from €40 to €45 and the unlimited travel plan goes from €89 to €95 per month.
  • Starlink says the price increase is to fund rapid expansion of satellite network capacity, to improve stability and reliability, and to cover higher operating costs while demand for the service remains strong.
  • Existing promotional, discount or introductory prices will remain unchanged until the end of their current terms, at which point accounts will move automatically to the new standard rates.
  • Hardware and country differences persist: entry plans include a Mini router, higher tiers include Router 3 and a mesh kit, travel kits cost roughly €200–€350, and Austria is still on lower local prices and different travel volumes for now.
