Starlink and Kyivstar Partner to Bring Satellite-Based Mobile Connectivity to Ukraine

The service is expected to launch in the fourth quarter of 2025, initially offering text messaging, with plans to expand to voice and data capabilities later.
The initiative aims to ensure communication remains available during disruptions to terrestrial networks caused by Russian attacks on Ukrainian infrastructure.
Starlink's satellites will provide coverage directly to standard LTE-enabled phones without requiring additional hardware or software.
