Starhotels Reopens Venice’s Hotel Gabrielli as a Five-Star Hotel, Timed to the Venice Film Festival

Overview

  • The hotel relaunch features 66 rooms and suites, including a Presidential Suite with a private rooftop altana overlooking the lagoon.
  • More than 700 Murano glass chandeliers and wall sconces were rebuilt by local artisans and reinstalled throughout the interiors.
  • Ownership remains with the Perkhofer family, custodians since 1856, while Starhotels operates the property under its Collezione brand.
  • Amenities now include a roughly 600-square-meter private garden, a spa with sauna and hammam, a sixth-floor panoramic terrace, and a private dock.
  • The property joins The Leading Hotels of the World and debuts refreshed dining led by Executive Chef Mirko Pistorello at Felice al Gabrielli, K Lounge Bar, and Terrazza Gabrielli.
