Overview
- Three tiers return—Green, Gold and Reserve—with status earned over 12 months at 500 Stars for Gold and 2,500 for Reserve, going live March 10 across North America.
- Members will see their initial tier in the app at launch based on Stars earned in 2025, and all existing Star balances will carry over.
- Earning shifts by tier: Green earns 1 Star per dollar, Reserve earns 1.7 per dollar, and outlets report conflicting figures for Gold’s rate, which Starbucks materials list as 1.5.
- A new 60‑Star option gives $2 off any item, with other redemptions kept but capped in value—for example, 200 Stars cover a handcrafted drink or hot breakfast up to about $10.
- Stars never expire for Gold and Reserve members; Green Stars last six months but can be extended with monthly activity, plus all members get Free Mod Mondays and added Double Star Days by tier.
