‘Star Wars: Visions’ Reasserts Non-Canon Freedom as Volume 3 Streams on Disney+

Waugh states the series is not trying to be part of Star Wars’ ongoing canonical narrative.

Waugh says the team may draw from the expanded universe when those elements carry cultural meaning for the creators.
He adds that contradictions with established lore are acceptable within Visions when a story’s unique expression calls for it.
