The remake of Star Wars: Knights of the Old Republic is reportedly no longer in active development, according to industry insider Jeff Grubb.
The game was initially being developed by Embracer-owned studios Aspyr Media and Saber Interactive.
Sony, which had previously committed to publishing and collaborating on the project, has been deleting references to the remake from the internet due to alleged music licensing issues.
Embracer CEO Lars Wingefors has refused to comment on the status of the project.
The future of the game has been uncertain following reports of internal issues, including the firing of its art and design directors.
