Star-Studded Hockey Game to Support LA Wildfire Relief Kicks Off Today

Celebrities, NHL legends, and first responders unite for 'Skate for LA Strong' at Crypto.com Arena to raise funds for fire recovery efforts.

The charity hockey event, 'Skate for LA Strong,' will take place today at Crypto.com Arena, featuring celebrities, NHL alumni, and first responders on four mixed teams.
Proceeds from the event will benefit organizations such as the Red Cross, LA Fire Foundation, Cal Fire Foundation, and Eaton Canyon Fire Relief and Recovery Fund.
Participants include Justin Bieber, Steve Carell, and Ross Lynch, with honorary coaches like Snoop Dogg, Will Ferrell, Danny DeVito, and Vince Vaughn.
Hockey legends such as Mark Messier, Rob Blake, and Manon Rheaume will join the game, which will be televised on ESPN2, ESPN+, and other platforms.
The event is free for firefighters, first responders, fire victims, and their families, as LA continues to recover from devastating January wildfires that claimed 29 lives and destroyed neighborhoods.
