Star Rangers Pitcher Jacob deGrom Has Successful Tommy John Surgery, Eyes 2024 Return

DeGrom underwent season-ending surgery to repair a torn ulnar collateral ligament in his right arm.
DeGrom said the hardest part is behind him and he looks forward to rehabbing to return to pitching.
DeGrom's goal is to return to pitching in August 2024 after the typical 12 to 14 month recovery period.
DeGrom had the same surgery in 2010 and has started the early stages of rehab.
The Rangers have won all six games DeGrom started for them this season before his injury.
