  • The $2 billion vessel was built at Meyer Turku in Finland from February 2023 and completed sea trials in May 2025.
  • Its amenities include a 327-ton glass-and-steel AquaDome, six record-breaking water slides, an ice rink, rock-climbing wall and themed neighborhood experiences.
  • Star of the Seas employs liquefied natural gas fuel alongside waste heat recovery and shore power connections to limit emissions in transit and at port.
  • The ship’s debut extends Royal Caribbean’s Icon-class lineup following the January 2024 launch of Icon of the Seas and precedes the planned 2026 arrival of Legend of the Seas.
