Star Houston Running Back Alton McCaskill Transfers to Colorado

Alton McCaskill, a former star running back for Houston, announced he is transferring to the University of Colorado.
McCaskill missed the 2022 season due to an ACL tear and did not participate in contact drills this spring.
According to The Athletic, McCaskill was one of the top available transfers as of Tuesday.
As a freshman at Houston, McCaskill rushed for 961 yards and scored 16 touchdowns, leading all freshman running backs in the country.
Houston coach Dana Holgorsen praised McCaskill, calling him "a great kid" and thanking him for his contributions to the Houston football program.
