Stanford, Cal Expected To Join Mountain West Conference After ACC Vote Fails

Stanford and Cal are one vote short of approval for ACC membership.
Florida State, Clemson, North Carolina, and NC State oppose Stanford and Cal joining ACC.
Without a change from one of the opposing schools, Stanford and Cal cannot join ACC.
Other options for Stanford and Cal include Mountain West Conference and American Athletic Conference.
