Overview

  • Calgary’s defence forced four interceptions, including a 15-yard pick-six by Damon Webb, while allowing just five touchdowns all season.
  • Vernon Adams Jr. completed 16 of 24 passes for 267 yards and three touchdowns, connecting on scoring throws of 37, 42 and three yards.
  • The 41-20 road victory improved the Stampeders to 5-1 and gave them sole possession of first place in the CFL West Division.
  • Winnipeg fell to 3-2 as it coped with the absence of receiver Dalton Schoen and lineman Stanley Bryant, plus a suspected concussion to quarterback Zach Collaros.
  • Calgary’s back-to-back blowout wins over Winnipeg defied the Bombers’ 17-0 record coming off bye weeks and challenged their home dominance since 2019.
