STALKER 2: Heart of Chornobyl, the long-awaited sequel to the iconic series, is set to release on 5th September 2024.
The game has been delayed multiple times due to the war in Ukraine, which prompted the developers, GSC Game World, to relocate to Prague in the Czech Republic.
STALKER 2 will be available on PC through Steam and the Epic Games store, and the Xbox Series X|S. It will also be available on the Xbox Game Pass at release.
The game is not a remake, but a sequel to all the previous games in the franchise.
Plans to introduce non-fungible tokens (NFTs) into the game were scrapped following negative feedback from the gaming community.
