- Speaking on September 21 at an event marking the 1,500th birth anniversary of Prophet Muhammad in Chennai, Stalin addressed a cross-party audience of Muslim leaders including those from the IUML, MMK, MJK and SDPI.
- He called on Muslims to boycott parties that support what he described as the BJP’s cheap, autocratic and authoritarian politics, a message aimed at the AIADMK without naming it.
