Overview
- On May 31, Chief Minister M.K. Stalin led a 20-kilometre roadshow through Madurai to mobilise party workers and signal the formal launch of the 2026 campaign.
- The DMK general council convened on June 1 in Madurai for the first time in 48 years and approved a door-to-door membership initiative targeting enrolment of at least 30% of voters at each polling station.
