Stalin Rallies DMK, Orders Vigilance on Voter Rolls and Puts Nellai on Notice

A Supreme Court challenge to the voter-roll revision is underway with statewide protests set for November 11.

Overview

  • On Friday, M. K. Stalin declared that no one can destroy the DMK and urged cadres to prevent any "vote theft" during the Special Intensive Revision of electoral rolls.
  • He directed party Booth Level Agents to police the revision process as Booth Level Officers make house visits, with voter-form submissions due by December 4.
  • The DMK has set up a help desk at party headquarters led by legal wing secretary N. R. Elango, complementing the Election Commission’s helpline during the revision.
  • Stalin has intensified the Udanpirappe Vaa outreach and warned office-bearers they would be removed if the party fails to win the BJP-held Nellai (Tirunelveli) seat, after review meetings attended by MP Kanimozhi.
  • The DMK-led Secular Progressive Alliance will hold district-headquarter protests on November 11, as the party presses its Supreme Court petition challenging the revision process and monitors shifting alliances reported in the state.
