• Stalin began a week-long official visit to Germany and the UK to court investors, with a scheduled Sept. 4 appearance at Oxford University.
• He said that since 2021 his administration has drawn about ₹10.6 lakh crore in investment proposals through 922 MoUs, with potential for more than 32 lakh jobs.
• He added that 36 MoUs from earlier foreign delegations have been signed, of which 23 projects are in various operational phases.
• Tamil Nadu BJP president Nainar Nagenthran called for a white paper detailing which MoUs have been implemented, citing unfulfilled agreements such as the ₹6,100‑crore Dubai commitments in 2022.
