- The IOPC received mandatory referrals on April 30, June 27 and July 29 over concerns about Noble’s off-duty conduct predating his 2021 appointment.
- Investigators are separately examining allegations that Noble shared confidential information without a proper policing purpose.
- Chris Noble has categorically denied any wrongdoing and said he will fully cooperate with the ongoing investigation.
- Adams’s office has begun searching for an interim chief constable to lead Staffordshire Police during the suspension.
