Overview

  • A 49-year-old man from Staffordshire was recorded travelling at 46 mph in a 40 mph variable limit zone on the M1 between junctions 15a and 15 near Northampton last August.
  • Worcester Magistrates’ Court imposed a six-month driving ban, three penalty points, a £40 fine and £130 in costs for the M1 offence.
  • He also faced two counts of exceeding a temporary 50 mph restriction on the M5 over a four-day period between junctions 6 and 4a last June.
