  • Seven teenagers aged 17 to 19 were wounded around 2 a.m. Saturday in a drive-by shooting at a social media-promoted post-prom gathering near St. Sabina Church in Auburn Gresham.
  • No suspects are in custody and Chicago Police continue probing the attack by occupants of a dark SUV who opened fire on a crowd of more than 200.
  • Father Michael Pfleger has pledged a $10,000 reward for information leading to arrests and the Uvalde Foundation for Kids has added $5,000 and will organize citizen patrols.
  • St. Sabina volunteers have stepped up security patrols, distributed flyers door to door and plan weekly peace walks beginning June 13 to deter gun violence.
