St. Paul Tesla Driver Charged With Criminal Vehicular Homicide in 100 MPH Crash
A warrant is in place, with the 22-year-old still hospitalized.

- A Minnesota State Patrol trooper reported the Tesla at 84 mph in a 55 mph zone before it accelerated past 100 mph, according to the criminal complaint.
- The trooper followed without lights or siren, saw the Tesla switch off its headlights while exiting at Dale Street, and then discovered the crash at Dale Street and Concordia Avenue.
- Kosar and his 19-year-old passenger were injured, said they had no memory of the crash, and were taken to a hospital, court records state.
- The passenger told investigators she had previously asked Kosar to stop speeding and said they had broken up earlier that day; if convicted, Kosar faces up to 10 years in prison.
