Overview
- Dozens of processions and bonfires run from 6 to 14 November, with events organized by parishes, Kitas, schools and civic groups across the three cities.
 - The largest listed Gelsenkirchen parade is set for Saturday, 8 November at Bulmker Forum, with activities from 14:00 and a lantern march at 18:00 led by a mounted St. Martin and live music.
 - Many routes include brass bands or marching ensembles, and common hospitality features include Martinsbrezeln, bratwurst, Glühwein, cocoa and Kinderpunsch, sometimes via pre‑sold tokens.
 - In Velbert, the Bürgerverein Obere Flandersbach leads a 7 November procession from the Schulhof am Thekbusch at 18:00 with a Martinspferd and music, and multiple Heiligenhaus school and Kita events follow through 13 November.
 - The Bürgerverein Plätzchen-Losenburg says its 8 November Martinszug will be the last in its current form, while additional Gelsenkirchen Martinsfeuer are scheduled throughout 6–14 November at various neighborhood sites.
