St. Louis Police SUV Crashes into Local Bar, Co-owner Arrested

St. Louis police SUV crashed into Bar:PM, a local bar, after allegedly running a red light, with surveillance footage shared by the bar owner's attorney suggesting this.
Chad Morris, co-owner of the bar, was arrested and charged with assault of an officer and resisting arrest following the crash. The felony charge of assault was later reduced to a misdemeanor.
The two officers in the patrol car, both with less than a year's experience, remain on active duty. They were not tested for drugs or alcohol after the incident as there was no suspicion of impairment.
The police department has declined to release body camera footage of the confrontation with Morris, citing an ongoing investigation.
Bar:PM reopened on Tuesday evening, with Morris making a speech to the patrons.
