  • SSI benefits for November were deposited on Friday, Oct. 31, since Nov. 1 falls on a Saturday, so no separate SSI payment will be issued in November.
  • Regular November Social Security benefits follow the standard schedule: Nov. 3 for pre-May 1997 recipients, then Nov. 12, Nov. 19, and Nov. 26 based on birth dates.
  • The Social Security Administration says benefit disbursements are not delayed by the government shutdown, though some services such as new application processing may face slowdowns.
  • Paper checks have been discontinued after a Sept. 30 deadline, with all payments now delivered electronically via direct deposit or Direct Express cards.
  • A 2.8% cost-of-living increase begins with January 2026 benefits, and the next SSI deposits are set for Dec. 1, 2025, and Dec. 31, 2025 (for January 2026).
