Overview
- SSC has adopted DEPwD’s October 16, 2024 certificate regime, using Form V for single disability and Form VI for multiple disabilities, replacing the earlier three-form set.
- For examinations notified after October 16, 2024 where recruitment is still underway, candidates may submit either the revised DEPwD formats or the previous certificates.
- The ‘own scribe’ facility is reinstated for PwBD for examinations notified on or before December 31 with age caps of 20 for matriculation/12th-level exams and 22 for graduate-level exams.
- Aadhaar-based authentication is mandatory for all own scribes, and if verification cannot be completed at the venue the candidate must use a Commission-provided scribe or sit without one.
- SSC has enabled self‑slot selection for Junior Engineer and Sub‑Inspector (Delhi Police and CAPF) Paper I; the SI slot window closes November 21 at 11 pm, with JE Paper I set for December 3–6 and SI Paper I for December 9–12.
