SSC Signals Late-December Timeline for CGL Tier 1 Result

SSC cites the ongoing review of candidate objections as the reason the PDF shortlist is not yet posted on ssc.gov.in.

Overview

  • SSC’s chairman told NDTV the Tier 1 result is expected on or before the last week of December following a review of raised objections.
  • The delay stems from vetting about 4,500 questions from 45 exams, with challenges sent back to original paper setters for scrutiny.
  • Results will be issued as a PDF on ssc.gov.in listing roll numbers shortlisted for Tier 2, with post-wise and category-wise cut-offs published alongside.
  • The objection window on the provisional answer key has closed; the final answer key and individual scorecards will be released later via candidate login.
  • Tier 1 was held over 15 days across 255 centres in 126 cities with roughly 13.5 lakh attendees, and Tier 2 is expected in January–February 2026.
