Overview

• The Staff Selection Commission will open a self-slot selection portal from October 22 to 28 for candidates to choose their exam city, date and shift.
• Choices will be shown across the three cities selected at application, and if those are full the system will offer alternate cities without a guarantee of preferred date or shift.
• Once a selection is submitted no changes will be allowed, and those who do not exercise the option in the window will be treated as unwilling to appear.
• Candidates opting for regional language question papers may find fewer dates and shifts available due to limited capacity.
• Tier-1 will run as a computer-based test starting November 12 after a postponement from the September window reportedly due to overlap with the SSC CGL schedule.
