SSC Reopens CGL 2026 Application Window Through June 25
Setting June 25 as the eligibility cut-off provides two extra days for late applicants to file their forms.
Overview
- The Staff Selection Commission, which reopened the online application window on June 23, allowed candidates to submit forms until 23:00 on June 25.
- The commission moved the online fee payment deadline to 23:00 on June 26 and scheduled an application-correction window from July 1 to July 3.
- More than 28 lakh candidates had already submitted applications during the original May 21–June 22 period before the brief reopening was announced.
- The new closing date of June 25 will be treated as the reference date for eligibility, affecting age and qualification cut-offs that are judged against the earlier standard of January 1, 2023.
- Candidates should use the official SSC portal (ssc.gov.in) to register, upload documents, pay fees and print confirmations because the short extension gives late applicants a narrow window to complete all steps and may increase site traffic.
