Overview

  • The commission has released a detailed PDF on August 5 listing 437 tentative vacancies for Combined Hindi Translator posts across ministries and departments.
  • Candidates can download their SSC CHT 2025 exam city intimation slips on the official portal and must register any scribe by August 8.
  • Paper 1 of the examination is set for August 12 as a 200-mark CBT with 100 General Hindi and 100 General English questions and a 0.25-mark penalty for wrong answers.
  • Shortlisted candidates from the CBT will move on to Paper 2, a descriptive test, based on category-wise cut-off lists.
  • The new sliding scheme will use an extended cut-off list to fill any vacancies remaining after document verification.
