Overview

• SSC’s tentative list raises total posts to 8,021 from the earlier 5,464 announced for this cycle.
• Vacancy split: 6,078 for MTS (age 18–25), 732 for MTS (age 18–27), and 1,211 for Havaldar in CBIC and CBN.
• The computer-based test will run in two mandatory sessions of objective questions, with Session II carrying negative marking and determining MTS merit.
• The examination will be offered in Hindi, English and 13 regional languages, including Assamese, Bengali, Gujarati, Kannada, Konkani, Malayalam, Manipuri, Marathi, Odia, Punjabi, Tamil, Telugu and Urdu.
• Category allocations include UR 3,713, OBC 1,994, EWS 817, SC 870 and ST 627, with reservations for PwD (OH/HH 89, VH 64, Other 71) and Ex-Servicemen 738.
