Overview
- Roughly 2.94 million candidates have registered to compete for 2,423 Group B and C posts across central government departments.
- Phase XIII computer-based tests run from July 24 to August 1 at matriculation, higher secondary and graduate levels.
- Each 60-minute exam features objective questions in General Intelligence, Awareness, Quantitative Aptitude and English with a 0.5-mark penalty for wrong answers and normalization across shifts.
- Tests will be administered in both Hindi and English to accommodate candidates nationwide.
- Applicants aged 18–42, with reserved-category age relaxations, are provisionally accepted pending post-exam document verification by user departments.
