SSC Declares Final Combined Hindi Translators Exam Results, Allocates 272 Posts

Provisionally selected candidates must complete document verification with assigned departments to confirm their appointments.

Overview

  • The Staff Selection Commission released the final results on July 25, 2025, provisionally appointing 272 candidates to Group B translator roles across central ministries and departments.
  • A total of 1,736 candidates who submitted their Option-cum-Preference between June 9 and 14 were considered for allocation, which was based on aggregate scores in Paper-I and Paper-II and individual post preferences.
  • In cases of tied aggregate marks, the SSC applied tie-breaking criteria in this order: Paper-II score, marks in General Hindi (Part I of Paper-I), older date of birth and then alphabetical order of names.
  • Allocated user departments will now conduct document verification and appointment formalities, with candidates advised to await communication or contact their department after six months if they receive no response.
  • No reserve or waiting list has been prepared, and any unfilled or vacated vacancies will be forwarded to the next recruitment cycle for future allocation.
