• The 55th Battalion intercepted the group at the Devtal post near Jhulaghat as they tried to cross the Kali river using a tyre tube.
• The detainees were identified as Dhamendra Chand, 25, Tarkaram Luhar, 22, Suraj Saud, 24, and Asif Pahadi, 31.
• Officials said three are rape accused from Nepal’s Baitadi district and one is a Kanchanpur resident jailed for murder.
