If you started getting Social Security before May 1997, your payment date is different. You’ll get your money on Monday, June 3, 2025.

Overview

  • Supplemental Security Income recipients received their June payment on May 30, 2025, because the SSA does not issue checks on weekends or holidays.
  • No SSI payment will be sent in the calendar month of June; the next SSI check is scheduled for July 1, 2025.
  • Social Security retirement, disability and survivor benefits will be paid on June 3, June 11, June 18 and June 25 based on recipients’ birthdates and initial claim dates.
  • About 7.4 million Americans rely on SSI each month, and the maximum Social Security benefit for those retiring at age 70 is $5,108 in 2025.
  • The SSA advises beneficiaries to wait at least three business days before reporting late payments, and analysts project funding shortfalls by 2034 absent policy changes.
