SRFI and HCL Launch Senior National Championship and Expanded Six-City PSA Tour

The new events guarantee equal prize money and provide Indian players a clear pathway to earn PSA ranking points ahead of squash’s LA 2028 Olympic debut.

Overview

  • Senior National Championship is set for August 23–28 at New Delhi’s Major Dhyanchand Stadium, with top domestic talent expected to participate.
  • The HCL India Squash Tour 2025-26 opens in Jaipur on August 4 and spans six cities—Jaipur, Mumbai, Bengaluru, Chennai, Ahmedabad and New Delhi—through February 7, 2026.
  • Each PSA Challenger event features a 24-player knockout draw with byes for the top eight seeds and is open to PSA-registered players aged 15 and above.
  • Champions at the 15k, 9k and 6k tiers will earn USD 15,000, 9,000 or 6,000 respectively, with identical prize purses for men’s and women’s draws.
  • Supported by the Sports Authority of India and the Ministry of Youth Affairs and Sports, the series keeps high-level competition on home soil to bolster India’s Olympic readiness.
