Overview
- A short video from the Kerala Cricket League presentation that circulated widely on Sunday shows S Sreesanth walking past Sanju Samson on stage without a handshake and has been shared across X/Twitter and news sites.
- Neither Sreesanth nor Samson has issued an official explanation for the on-stage interaction and no representative statements have been reported by outlets covering the clip.
- Coverage ties the moment to Sreesanth's past role as a mentor to Samson and to Sreesanth's public complaints that he helped arrange Samson's early IPL trials but has been left out of the credit narrative.
- The incident occurred during the KCL 2026 final presentation at Greenfield International Stadium where Sreesanth collected the Fair Play award as an Aries Kollam Sailors co-owner and Thrissur Titans won the title.
- Social-media reaction is mixed with some users treating the clip as evidence of a rift and others posting past photos and background to push back, and the next likely development to watch is whether either man or their teams issue a statement.
