Square Enix Surprises Fans with SaGa Frontier 2 Remastered Launch

The updated classic RPG is now available across multiple platforms, featuring enhanced visuals, expanded content, and new gameplay features.

SaGa Frontier 2 Remastered was revealed and released during a Nintendo Direct showcase on March 27, 2025.
The remaster updates the 1999 PS1 RPG with improved watercolor visuals, expanded scenarios, and new playable characters.
Additional features include updated battle systems, added gameplay mechanics, and new endgame challenges.
The game follows the intertwining generational stories of Gustave, a royal heir, and Wil, an adventurer confronting a hidden calamity.
SaGa Frontier 2 Remastered is available now for $29.99 on Nintendo Switch, PS5, PS4, PC via Steam, and mobile devices.
